Random suppertime thought:
The good guys in Harry Potter wouldn’t have had such a hard time dealing with Voldemort and his lackies if everyone in that universe wasn’t such a fucking statist.
Seriously though, the only reason the good guys hadn’t “Avada Kadavra’d” all of Voldemorts followers out of existence (let’s face it, he’s not that intimidating if it’s just him as an antagonist…) is because of the government enforced taboo on using it.
Fucking Statist. You’re just making things harder for yourself.

Head Canon: Hermoine lied when she said she put an undetectable extension charm on her bag. A few years back, when Barty Crouch Jr. was impersonating Mad-Eye, he gave Hemoine that bag, hoping it would help “further her studies”. When she stuck her hand inside, she pulled it back quickly, completely shocked at how far her arm had gone in. She looked at who she believed was Mad-Eye with a questioning gaze. “Time Lord technology,” he said simply, then walked off, leaving her even more confused than before.
